I was a Deputy Sheriff in Southern California until my husband and I started having kids. After our first child was born, we decided one of us needed to be a stable presence in our their lives. Since my husband is active duty military, I became a stay at home mom. Shortly afterwards, I started my online business, Stevens Tactical Shop, that I run out of our home. It has moved with us across the country and back. 

Having been a LEO, I worked closely with other LEO's, Firefighters, EMT's and Dispatch. I developed a great respect for them and their sacrifice. My business became geared towards law enforcement, first responders & military, as those professions are near and dear to my heart. This has allowed me to stay "connected" to my brothers & sisters even though I am no longer on the "front lines" with them. 

Though we are not a large company, we like to give back when we can. We have done that in the past by designing/making patches for departments and associations with little to no profit. We sold 100 patches with all net proceeds going to a family benefit fundraiser for a fallen LEO. We have designed a beer label for a special benefit beer to raise funds for fallen First Responders. We have sponsored a Law Enforcement team that participated in the World Police & Fire Games. We have donated numerous products for fund raising raffles associated with first responders.
